How is your brochure delivered?

Our seasonal brochure is delivered three times a year by the U.S. Mail The Park District is not responsible for missing brochures.

Why does the class I wanted to register for show "Full" but the registration deadline isn't until next week?

All programs and trips have a pre-determined limited enrollment, and registration is on a first-come, first serve basis. Early registration is always recommended! Prior participation in a program does not guarantee enrollment.

Can I register for a program over the phone?

No. Registration is accepted at the Front Desk of the Administration Center (10925 W. La Porte Road) during regular business hours, or at The Oaks Recreation & Fitness Center, 10847 W. La Porte Road. Registration is also accepted by mail, fax, or on-line at our secure website, www.mokenapark.com using Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

How old does my child have to be to participate?

Almost all programs have an age or grade requirement for participation. In order to participate, the child must be that age or grade by the first day of the program. In the case of summer programs, the grade is the whatever grade they will be entering in the fall.

I forgot to register for a class. Can't I just show up?

No, pre-registration is required for all programs and trips. All participants are required to sign a waiver, and instructors are not allowed to accept registrations.

I'm going on vacation and will miss a class. Can I get a credit on the fee?

Credits or make-up classes are not available for missed classes.
