Our Kiddie Kaper instructors, Janet Nush and Kristin TenBroeck, have many exciting activities planned, and we know your child will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of new and different experiences with their peers. Group and individual activities will help your child develop new skills in a unique early childhood education setting.
Both instructors have degrees in Education.
PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM
Our Kiddie Kapers program stresses the social development of young children and the importance of learning through play. Free play time, music, art projects, games and stories offer children the opportunity to share, communicate through others, discover new and interesting things, improve motor skills, and have fun. Pre-reading and pre-math activities help develop logical thinking. Some concepts that we teach (depending on age 3 or age 4) are colors, shapes, numbers, street names, telephone numbers, days of the week, months of the year, holidays, seasons of the year, community leaders, good nutrition, and printing of first name.
