One of the challenges of pickleball is that the sound of the ball hitting the paddle is louder than tennis, and since the courts are smaller, more individuals are able to play in the same area as tennis. As a result, sounds produced can be quite loud if all courts are utilized at the same time. As an effort to reduce the noise produced and respect the neighbors in the areas where pickleball is played, we request that you take the recommendations of Sun City in Arizona into consideration when selecting your pickleball paddle. Click on the link below to view the list of extensive list of recommended paddles (green) versus banned paddles (red), and utilize this list to help guide you in making a decision to purchase equipment that produces less noise. https://www.pickleballportal.com/gear/paddles/best-quiet-pickleball-paddles/
