Community Garden Plots at Yunker Farm Park
We have 62 garden plots available for rental. Plots are 12′ x 12′. Plot rental is $25 for residents and $40 for non-residents.
Rental opens on March 1, 2024 online or at the Administration Center (10925 La Porte Road).
Dates to remember:
Gardeners will be sent an informational packet before the growing season begins.
May 1 – planting may begin
June 1 – Plots not planted by June 1 will be returned to the Park District for re-rental. NO REFUNDS.
November 1 – plot must be completely cleaned out. Failure to do so will result in rental privileges being revoked, and possible fines levied.
